Omala Chairman Appoints Supervisory Councilors, Says Its Time For Action

The newly appointed Supervisory Councilors in Omala Local Government Council have been urged to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their responsibilities to enable the leadership of the Area deliver on its mandate.

The Executive Chairman of the Area, Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh gave the charge while approving the appointment of the Supervisory Councillors today (29th December 2020) at the Local Government Secretariat.

Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Aboh said dedication, loyalty and honesty should be their watch words, bearing in mind that the development of any society requires the contributions of all.

Alhaji Aboh congratulated them on their appointment and enjoined them to work hard and justify their appointments.

Those appointed as Supervisory Councillors include:
1. Hon. Alima G. Abuh
2. Hon. Simeon Omale
3. Hon. Atuluku Victor Levi
4. Hon. Josiah Achimugu
5. Hon. Daniel Zekeri

Meanwhile, all newly appointed Supervisory Councillors are to forward fifteen (15) copies of their CV’s to the Office of the Clerk of the house immediately.

A statement Signed by Suleiman Alih, Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, said the Supervisory Councillors are to also appear before the Legislative Council on Thursday, 31st December, 2020 at ten o’clock in the morning for screening at the Council Hall, as failure to appear for the screening attracts disqualification.
