Alhaji Yahaya Bello The Kogi State governor, delineated allegation by deputy governor Elder Simon Achuba that his salaries and entitlement has not been paid since 2017 as false and mischievous claims targeted at embarrassing the state government.
Bello uttered his preparation to meet the deputy governor in court over what he also described as his bogus claims.
The governor was reacting to a letter of demand dated 17th July 2019, written by counsel to the deputy governor, Femi Falana (SAN), alleging that salaries and entitlements of the deputy governor had not been paid since 2017.
Speaking through his Director General of Media and Publicity, Kingsley Fanwo, Governor Bello said the salaries of the deputy governor have been paid up to the same date as that of the governor and other political office holders in Kogi State.
