As the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) embarks on nationwide membership registration and revalidation exercise, the Senator representing Kogi Central
Senatorial District, Senator Yakubu Oseni has once again called on his constituents and Nigerians as a whole to register in their respective wards in order to have their voices aired and heard.
Senator Oseni made the call today in Abuja while commending the Chairman of the APC Registration and Revalidation Enlightenment and Mobilisation Committee, Governor Yahaya Bello on his rare pan-Nigeria political belief which he opined will swell the membership base
of the governing party.
While stressing that the APC is the only stable, unbeatable and human-focused political party in Nigeria, the lawmaker who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT/Cybercrime said windows of
opportunity are always open for whoever has the interest of the nation at heart to join in order to consolidate on the achievements recorded by the present administration.
“We are again at the critical point of decision making in this country. The point of making decision on strengthening the political platform whose major policy thrust is in taking practical steps to reduce the poverty
level through various social investment schemes, ensuring food sufficiency through agricultural revolution and above all, securing our nation against internal insurrection.
“Join the APC where your voice, no matter how feeble it is, will be heard and respected. Your membership of the
party is the first and important criteria in taking decision on whom your mandate at the local, state and federal
levels will be given,” the lawmaker enlightened.
It would be recalled that Governor Yahaya Bello, who is presently enjoying rising political acceptance across the
country, had shortly after inauguration as the Chairman, APC Registration and Revalidation Enlightenment and
Mobilisation Committee, promised to quadruple the current membership base of the party. The Governor is also known as a mascot for political victories in his
state and beyond.
The membership registration and revalidation exercise is expected to commence on the 25th of January, 2021.
